Kelly M. Collins

Kelly M. Collins, 52, of Elkhart unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

She was born January 24, 1972 in Clinton County, Iowa to Richard and Susanne Lawson.

She is survived by her daughters, Rachel and Mya; three grandchildren, Harper, Hayden, and Harmonii; her brother, Richard Jr.; her father, Richard; and her partner in life, Erik.

She attended Church on the Rock, Kelly worked several manufacturing jobs where she was known to be a hard worker. She liked spending time with her family, being a grandma, going to the beach, and camping with friends and family.

Visitation and service will take place Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, the visitation will be from 1-3pm and the celebration service will be from 3-4pm. Pastor Tony Tice of Church on the Rock will be saying a few words along with some other family members. There will be no burial or spreading of ashes following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that all donations go to Elkhart Christian Academy, which is where Mya went to school for 11 years. Kelly loved the school and what they stand for and the family believes this is where she would want the donations to go.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
