Kelli Eileen Wood, 50, of Goshen, died late Thursday night, May 1, 2014, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born May 28, 1963 in St. Louis to Leo and Rosemary (Polete) Wood. She is survived by her mother; a daughter, Jessica (fiancé Ryan Pamer) Holden and two sons, Christopher (Maria) Holden and Cory Holden, all of Goshen; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Lorrie (John) Churchill of South Bend, Kristi (Dan) Balentine of Elkhart and Jodi (fiancé Phillip West) Wood of Goshen. Carrie, her dog, was a special part of her life. She was preceded in death by her father on May 1, 2001. She graduated from Goshen High School in 1981 where she was active in marching band and Crimsonaires. She sang at weddings and other events and played Abigail in 1776 at the Bristol Opera House. A lifetime member of The Salvation Army, she enjoyed history and reading. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, funeral service will be conducted. CSM Esther Yoder, The Salvation Army, will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
