Katie Ann Yoder, 95, of Goshen, died Friday morning, June 20, 2014, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen. She was born September 23, 1918 in Arthur, Illinois, to Daniel and Mattie (Gingerich) Lee. On June 17, 1937 she married Ray Yoder in Arthur, IL. He died in 1983. Surviving are five daughters, Lorene (Lloyd) Chupp, Irene (Tony) Helmuth, both of Goshen, Ada (Stan) Shopa, of Wolcottville, Carolyn Lambright, of Elkhart, and June (Carl) Rheinheimer, of Nappanee; five sons, Freeman Yoder, of Topock, Arizona, Ray Yoder, Jr., of Lexington, Kentucky, Wilber (Barb) Yoder, of Wolcottville, Bob (Kathy) Yoder, of Sun City West, Arizona, and Rick (Sonda) Yoder, of Topeka; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Davidhizar; a granddaughter, Terra Lambright; two sisters, Ada Rogers and Mary Weaver; a brother, Jim Lee; and a daughter-in-law Joyce Yoder. Mrs. Yoder was an area resident since 1947 and loving homemaker. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, funeral service will be held at New Life Fellowship, 2755 S State Rd. 5, Topeka. Reverends Drew Ryall and Larry Byrnes will officiate. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be directed to Riley Children's Hospital.
