Katie Lambright, 87, of Goshen, died Thursday morning, December 20, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital in the emergency room. She was born in Thomas, Oklahoma, on September 26, 1920, to William B. and Katie (Yoder) Miller. She married Menno A. Lambright on December 7, 1939, in La Grange County. He survives. A homemaker, Mrs. Lambright worked as a cook for Fairfield Schools for many years. She was a member of the Townline Conservative Church. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her husband, Menno; three daughters, Mabel (Gene) Wagaman and Barbara (Merle) Bontrager, both of Goshen, and Bertha (Ervin) Miller of Middlebury; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lizzie Hochstetler, Clara Miller, Annie Otto and Pheobe Glick; and three brothers, Newt, Roy and John Miller. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, December 22 and 23 at the Townline Conservative Mennonite Church. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2007, funeral service will be held at the Townline Conservative Mennonite Church in Topeka. Rev. Mel East, Rev. Menno Mullet and Rev. Andrew Eversol will officiate. Burial will be in Townline Conservative Church Cemetery, Topeka.
