Kathy M. Garrett

Kathy M. Garrett, 70, of Middlebury, died Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

She was born January 19, 1952 in Chicago Illinois and is the daughter of Loren W. and Janette G. (Olson) Erickson.

She is survived by three children, Joseph (Katie) Garrett of Elkhart, Kierra (Page Perkkio) Garrett of Middlebury and Shauna C. (Travis Bays) Brosius of Bourbon; the former spouse and friend, Richard A. Brosius; four grandchildren, Jericah B. Bolton, Braylon Perkkio, Shelby J.C. Garrett and Oakley Perkkio and a sister, Penelope Dann of Washington D.C.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Corey Garrett.

Kathy loved working during elections, she had a kind love for animals specially her pets Chewy and Bella. She enjoyed crafting Jewelry and trinkets. She was an avid reader. Everybody came before herself.

A visitation will take place from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
