Kathryne F. Corson

Kathryne Frances Corson, 83, of Goshen passed away, Sunday, January 31, 2021 after a courageous battle with COPD.

She was born Sept. 14, 1937 in Indianapolis to Virgil and Margaret (Barrett) Baldwin.

On Feb. 25, 1956 she married Richard Corson in Indianapolis.  He died Feb. 29, 1983.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Debbie Craig) Corson of Pendleton and Brenda Carlson of Plymouth, three grandchildren, Kale Carlson, Kathryne (Brandon) Iaria and Ken Carlson; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Corson; and two brothers, Virgil (Mel) Baldwin, Muncie and Perry (Dianne) Baldwin, McCordsville.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sets of twins, David Roy & Debra Kay and Lydia Kay and Dale Reed Corson; a son, Douglas Roy Corson and two sisters, Ruth Ann Baldwin and Peggy Sue Kidd.

Mrs. Corson worked at several city and county offices, including the Water and Sewer Department, Clerk-Treasure’s Office and Elkhart County Auditor’s Office.  She attended First United Methodist Church, Goshen.  She enjoyed playing cards for many years with her friends and Bridge Club.

A graveside service will take place at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
