Kathryn Young

Kathryn May Phillips Young, 80, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Heartland Hospice.

She was born August 10, 1944, in Gary, Indiana to Vance Carter Phillips and Martha Ione White.

Surviving Kathryn is a son, Andrew Young, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Suzanne Finley.

Kathryn enjoyed serving others in the retail industry and helping others in need. She loved her cats and crocheting. Her wishes were for her body to be donated to the IU School of Medicine for research, just as both of her parents had done.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 10, from 4-6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, until the 6 p.m. memorial service.
