Kathryn M. Schrock

Kathryn M. Schrock, 85, of Goshen died Friday morning, April 18, 2008, at the Gables at Greencroft where she had been for a month. She was born in Elkhart on April 6, 1923, to Roscoe and Clara (Hartman) Wise.  She married Ralph L. Schrock on December 2, 1945 in Elkhart.  He preceded her in death on April 12, 2005. Mrs. Schrock, a lifelong resident of the area, worked as a secretary for U-Rent-It until her retirement.  She was a member of the Creekside Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two daughter, Lonna (Alan) Overholser of Goshen and Deborah (Craig) West of Clermont, Florida; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and a sister, Julia Wise. Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 24, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2008, funeral service will held at Creekside Church of the Brethren.  Pastor David Bibbee of the Creekside Church will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart. Memorial contributions may be made to the Creekside Church of the Brethren.
