Kathryn "Katie" L. Ulery

Kathryn “Katie” L. Ulery, 91, of Goshen, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

She was born November 16, 1930 in Goshen to Orley H. and Katie C. (Elliott) Ogle.

On June 5, 1949, she married Donald A. Ulery in Goshen.  Don died October 3, 1988.

Katie is survived by two daughters, Kathy Ralston of Elkhart and Karen (Robert) Miller of Goshen; a former son-in-law, Michael Ralston; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Miller; sisters, Martha Jane Penrose and Leora Overholser and brothers, Charles and Richard Ogle.

A 1948 graduate of Goshen High School, Katie retired as a school secretary from Jefferson Elementary School after more than 35 years of service.  She was a member of Jefferson Community Church.

She relished family time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed watching the birds.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, May 20, 2022, from 9:30 until the 10:30 funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Jefferson Community Church.
