Katherine J. Craig, 90, of Goshen died Friday, May 14, 2021 at Waterford Crossing, where she had resided the past four years.

She was born August 29, 1930 in Goshen to Edward and Hester (Steele) Rupholdt.

On June 27, 1974 she married Dr. Robert A. Craig in Goshen. He died August 9, 1999.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane (Richard) Hart of Louisville, Kentucky; a son, David (Lisa) Zollinger of Goshen; and two grandchildren, Mary Katherine Hart and Clayton (Lyndsey) Zollinger.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Snobarger.

A 1948 graduate of Goshen High School, Mrs. Craig was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, where she served as church secretary for many years.  Always active in the community, Katie served eight years on the City Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. She was a graduate of the Goshen City Police Citizens Academy, former member of Maplecrest Country Club, and was a board member of Goshen Public Library and Camp Fire, a youth leadership organization. She also served as a past President for Tri Kapp Sorority and the Goshen Library Club.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10 a.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Father Larry Biller will officiate.

Burial of her cremated remains will be at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
