Katelyn Marie O'Grady

Katelyn Marie O'Grady, 21, of Goshen, died at her home Sunday evening, June 16, 2013. She was born March 18, 1992 in Detroit, Michigan, to James O'Grady and Marnee Fleming. She is survived by her parents, James and Abby O'Grady of Goshen; five siblings, Nicole Pletz of Washington state, Kelly Ewin of Evansville, James and Danielle Horn both at home and Emma O'Grady of Goshen; grandmother, Jane Lynch of Goshen, grandfather, Doug West of Goshen; great-grandmother, Oveda Fleming of Taylor, Michigan, and boyfriend, Jacob Moreland of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marnee Fleming in 2003 and other grandparents. A 2011 graduate of Goshen High School, Katelyn struggled her whole life with cystic fibrosis but was always brave and courageous. She worried more about others than herself. Everyone who knew her loved her. Her fierce attitude kept her going. Friends may call Wednesday, June 19, from 2 until the 7:30 p.m. rosary and one hour prior to the 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Larry Rice, spiritual care counselor of Center for Hospice Care, will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
