She loved crafting and baking, and her snickerdoodles were a favorite among family and friends. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, whether at home or enjoying a day at the beach. Karlynne had a free spirit, she loved to get in the car, go for a drive, visit with others and take in the moments around her. She also enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer and capturing memories through photographs.

A strong and resilient woman, Karlynne was honored to have her name placed on the wall at the Lilly Foundation as a 25-year survivor of Type 1 diabetes, receiving a medal in recognition of her courage and perseverance. Her strength was an inspiration to those who knew her.

She also held a special place in her heart for her dogs, Xia and Talia, who were faithful companions.

Karlynne will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family and the simple joys she shared so freely with those around her.
