Karen Sue Hoover

Karen S. Hoover, 52, of Syracuse, died at her home Monday, October 18, 2010.. She was born January 19, 1958, in Indianapolis to Ronald and Demarus (Black) Kelly of Goshen.  She married Phillip Hoover on January 10, 1976.  He survives. Also surviving are a son, Kevin Hoover of New Paris; a daughter, Christy Garcia of Goshen; a daughter-in-law, Sheena Hoover; three grandchildren, Victor and Sierra Garcia and Kionna Hoover; two sisters, Diane (Louis) McKibbin of Goshen and Susan (Jay) Warstler of New Paris; and a brother, Randy Kelly of Goshen. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen. A massage therapist, Mrs. Hoover owned and operated Hoover Massage.  She graduated from Lewis School of Massage, Hobart. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010, funeral service will be conducted.  Rev. Father Christopher Smith of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in New Paris Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
