Karen Therese Combs

Karen T. Combs, 66, of Goshen, died Sunday, December 30, 2018 at home.

She was born November 12, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois.

Survivors include a daughter, Sabrina (Brian) Strong of Goshen, her mother, Lois V. (Haglund) Leonhardt of Crown Point; three grandchildren, Steve and Vivian Worlds and Kayla Strong; three sisters, Deborah (Paul) Rosenwinkel of Lowell, Pam (Jack) Swartout of Whitestown and Dawn (Matthias) Morand of Germany; four brothers, Robert Leonhardt, Jr. of Portage, Chris Leonhardt, LaFayette and David and Kurt (Amy) Leonhardt, both of Crown Point and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Leonhardt, Sr. and a sister, Judith Vargo.

Karen moved to Goshen in 2006 from Michigan City where she worked as a corrections officer for the Indiana State Prison.

A private service was held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
