Karel Helisek, 81, of Goshen, died Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2012, at Courtyard Healthcare where he had been since May 2011. He was born January 10, 1931, in Tvarozna Lhota, Czech Republic to Karel and Marie (Heliskova) Helisek. He married Marie Vajcnerova December 31, 1982 in the Czech Republic. She survives. An electrical engineer, Mr. Helisek had lived in Goshen for 25 years. Following cremation at Yoder-Culp Crematory, his cremains will be buried in the Czech Republic.
