Kham "John" Luangasa, 45, of Bristol, died early Wednesday morning, May 16, 2012, at his home. He was born February 10, 1967 in Laos to Thong-Dang and Peng Luangasa. In 1989 he married Lae Homhouane in Goshen. She survives. Also surviving are his parents, four children, Nick, Theil Kathy, Monica, and Joshua Luangasa all at home; three brothers, Sisay, Jim and Saly Luangasa all of Elkhart; and a sister, Khan Clinger of London, Ohio. A member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren, who sponsored his family as refugees from Laos, and a 1985 Goshen High School graduate, he had worked at Harold Ziegler Ford. John enjoyed working on cars, fishing and playing cards. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 18, and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2012, at the West Goshen Church of the Brethren, 1200 Berkey Ave., Goshen, where a 12, noon, funeral will be conducted. Pastor Norm Replogle will officiate. Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to West Goshen Church of the Brethren to help support the family.
