June Sherland

June Sherland, 95, Goshen, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Golden Living Center in Elkhart.

She was born December 19, 1924 to Roy B. and Dorothy L. (Cook) McElwee in Peru, Indiana.

Surviving June are a son James Culp, Elkhart; and sister-in-law Judith Atkinson, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, son Charles Culp Jr., two brothers Robert Atkinson, Donald McElwee, and sister Betty DiVietro.

Mrs. Sherland was a member of the Elkhart DAV and the Elkhart Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing euchre.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 9, from 4-5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen. A graveside will take place on Thursday, September 10 at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Walkerton, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Association.
