June Jule Grinstead

June Jule Grinstead, 86 of Goshen, died Saturday afternoon, May 19, 2012, at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born June 30, 1925 in Goshen to Windburn and Tressa (Myers) Carlin. She married Norman "Grinny" Grinstead on December 1, 1944 in Junction City, Kansas. He died June 27, 2004. She is survived by two daughters, Kandy (George) Hunter of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and Linda Brown and her friend, Cindi of Goshen; a son, Norman (Luanne) Grinstead, Jr. of Cannon Beach, Oregon; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marion Carlin of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald; a daughter, Tomila; and a sister, Jo Ann Cross. June was a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ. Her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later time. Burial of her cremains will take place at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
