Julie Tonges

Julie A. Tonges, 61, of Goshen passed away at her home Saturday, October 14, 2023 after a courageous two year battle with cancer.

She was born November 13, 1961 in Kokomo to Robert and Joyce (Pullen) Price. They preceded her in death.

On July 6, 2013 she married Christian Tonges in Goshen.

He survives along with a daughter, Samantha (Nick) McKenzie of Gaithersburg, Maryland; a son, Justin (Aly) Rayl of Bremen; two grandchildren, Aubree and Noah McKenzie; and a sister, Nancy (Joe De Paola) Price Frazier of Charlotte, North Carolina.

A 1979 graduate of Western High School in Russiaville, Julie worked as an office manager for Elkhart Tool and Die.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 21, at 12 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Police Chaplain Dr. Gregg Lanzen will officiate.

According to her wishes, her body will be cremated.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the family to assist with expenses.
