Juliana M. Kuhl

Juliana M. Kuhl, 57, died Wednesday morning, November 11, 2009, at the Goshen General Hospital Emergency Room. She had been ill for two years.  She was born on October 26, 1972, in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada, to John W. Kuhl, and Lillian (Warkentine) Kuhl. Her mother preceded her in death. She lived in Pennsylvania for 30 years and in Goshen for 12 years. Mrs. Kuhl was a member of the Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church, Greely, Pennsylvania; she was the pianist for several different churches. She received her Master’s degree in Music Education, from Goshen College.  She was a celebrated musician and music teacher. She is survived by her father, John W. Kuhl, Winkler, Manitoba; one daughter, Shayna Miller, New Paris; two sons, Thomas (Ranae) Hartman, LaGrange, Shawn Miller, New Paris; three sisters, Deborah (Guy) Kuhl Magnuson, Winnipeg, Rebecca (Glen) Joldersma, Goshen, Susan (Andrew) Kuhl Krahn, London, Ontario; one brother, Keith (Karen) Kuhl, Winkler, Manitoba. There will be no public services.  Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics, music education, or to the donor’s choice.
