Julia Troyer, 90, of Goshen, died at her home on Monday morning, September 15, 2008. She was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on September 8, 1918, to George and Anna (Potski) Rostochak. She married Ralph V. Troyer on October 1, 1953. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1969. A Goshen resident since 1973, Mrs. Troyer was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the VFW in Goshen. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting and playing cards. She is survived by a daughter, Carole (Brett) Mitchell of Goshen; a granddaughter; three sisters, Margaret Johnson of Goshen, Helen (Ed) Kwiatkowski of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth (James) Evanik of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a brother, Michael (Wilma) Rostochak of Pierceton, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; two sisters, Ann Lichtenstein and Mary Blough; and three brothers, John, George and Joseph Rostochak. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
