Judy Lynn Rivet

Judy Lynn Rivet 50, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, December 9, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. She was born July 28, 1963 in Elkhart, to Ralph and Velma (Poarch) Sanderson. On July 1, 2003 she married Michael Joseph Rivet Sr. in Reno, Nevada. He survives along with her mother; six children, Michelle Stineman, Sara (Steven) Bowen, Brittney (Marc) Cave, Johnny Stauffer, Michael Joseph Rivet, Jr. and Staci Renee (Brian) Seabolt, all of Elkhart; 14 grandchildren; and three sisters, Connie Haley of Lake Alfred, Florida, and Etta (Steve) Stover of Manchester, Tennessee, and Rhonda Thrasher of Elkhart . She was preceded in death by her father. Judy was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home prior to the 7 p.m. funeral service. Cremation will take place after the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
