Judy Kay Honderich

Judy K. Honderich, 69, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at home, surrounded by family after a brief cancer illness.

She was born April 17, 1951 in Goshen to James and Dorothy (Whirledge) Bigler.

On October 10, 1970 she married Nevin Honderich in Millersburg.

He survives along with two children, Heather (Brad) Bontrager of Syracuse and Josh (Jeannine) Honderich of Goshen; five grandchildren, Eliahna, Brayden, Jessica, Alexis and Cole; two great-grandchildren, Espen and Auden; and three siblings, Steven (Nancy) Bigler of Goshen, Tim (Jerrie) Bigler of Kirksey, Kentucky and Connie Myers of Goshen.

Mrs. Honderich graduated from Goshen High School in 1969 and worked for Ziggity Systems.  Judy was a very nurturing, loving, generous and kind person who never met a stranger.  She was the center of her family!

Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 202 S. Greene Road, Goshen.  A 10 a.m. Saturday funeral service will be conducted at the church with Pastor Jessica King and Chaplain Andrea Hickey officiating.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude’ Children’s Hospital or Elkhart Community Foundation.
