Judith Lynn Strycker

Judith Lynn Strycker, 68, of Goshen, died early Sunday morning, September 16, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital where she had been the last month. She was born May 3, 1944 in Goshen to Paul and Anna Lee (Pippenger) Elijah. She married Thomas Strycker June 8, 1963 in Goshen. He survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Paula Altenhof and Patty Jones, both of Goshen, and Rebecca (David) Guthart of Rake, Iowa: a son, James D. Strycker of Goshen; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pamela Elijah of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Elijah. A longtime Goshen resident, Mrs. Strycker made, collected and sold dolls. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service on Friday, September 21, 2012, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Steven Stanley of the Goshen Congregation of Jehovah Witness will officiate. Burial of cremains will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be to the family.
