Judith M. Schlobohm

April 26, 1935 — December 27, 2016

Judith “Judy” Schlobohm, 81, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at home.

She was born April 26, 1935 in Peoria, Illinois to Fred and Myrtle-fern (Wyatt) Blasek.

On December 4, 1954 she married M. Dean Reardon.  He was killed in an auto accident April 1, 1973.

She then married Robert “Bob” Schlobohm on July 1, 1975, who survives.  They spent the first 21 years living and working in the suburbs of Chicago.  While living there, they were members of the Lumen Christi Presbyterian Church of Naperville, where Judy became a Stephen Minister.

For more than 20 years she was a legal secretary while living in Illinois.

Along with her husband, survivors include a son, Michael (Kathy) Reardon of Pacific Grove, California; two daughters, Deanne Wilson of Elkhart and Kay (John) Wicevic of Gardner, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred Blasek, Jr. and a grandson.

As a member of First Presbyterian Church of Goshen, she served as treasurer, elder and on many committees, including starting the Annual Christmas Dinner.  Judy also served on the board of directors for The Window and volunteered at Loveway.  She also served as treasurer for Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen.

Friends may call Saturday, December 31, 2016,from 10 a.m. until the 12, noon, memorial service at First Presbyterian Church.  Rev. Alan Griffin will officiate.  Lunch will follow the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Care at Home and Hospice.
