Judie Eldridge

Judie A. Eldridge, 70, of Goshen, passed away at home unexpectedly on Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born on July 7, 1943, to John and Mary (Lung) Etsinger in Goshen. On October 7, 1961, Judie married Thomas M. Eldridge. He passed away on January 29, 1989. Judie worked at Everence, in Goshen, for 24 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially birds, gardening and her farm. Judie loved Jesus and her family more than anything, and her family misses her dearly. Judie is survived by her mother, Mary Etsinger, of Goshen; three daughters Laurie (Roger) Chupp, Murle Anne (Doug) Erschen, Tammy (Mark) Erickson all of Goshen; son Tommy (Jennifer) Eldridge of Goshen; granddaughter Tori Eldridge of Goshen; grandsons Breece Erickson and Ryan Eldridge both of Goshen; sisters-in-law Bonnie Arnold of Elkhart, Donna (Norman) Fisher of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Virginia (Dana) Morse and Dorothy (John) Christner both of Goshen; and a sister Susie (Bill) Gangwer of Goshen. Judie was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Scott Yoder. A private graveside service will be held at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery in Goshen. Memorials may be made to Friends of Israel.
