Juanita R. Cole

Juanita R. Cole, 89, of Niles, Michigan, died early Saturday morning, December 9, 2006.   She was born December 28, 1916, in Elkhart, Indiana, to John H. and Ruth (Martin) Benner.  She married Donald Yoder on October 3, 1936, in Goshen.  He died April 15, 1965.  She then married Elmer C. Cole in Niles, Michigan on November 4, 1972.  He died March 20, 1984.   A homemaker, Mrs. Cole, lived most of her life in the area until 1972.  She was a member of the First Church of Christ “Christian” in Niles, Michigan and she was a past member of the Goshen Moose Lodge.   She is survived by two sons, John (Diane) Yoder of Wildwood, Illinois and Lowell Yoder of Grand Prairie, Texas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husbands; a brother, Stanley Benner; a half sister, Ellen Francis and two half brothers, Lamar and Richard Reed.   Friends will be received 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, at the funeral home.   A 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2006, will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.    Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be designated to the Activity Fund at the West Woods of Niles, 1211 St. Line Rd., Niles, MI   49120.
