Juanita Archer, 83, of Goshen, died Thursday morning, December 8, 2011, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born June 12, 1928 in New Castle to the late William H. and Opal M. (Davis) Butler. She married Kenneth Archer, April 21, 1973. He died November 19, 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Richard) Dunlap of Goshen; a son, Randy (Janie) Miller of Upper Michigan; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jesse Butler of New Castle. She was preceded in death by nine siblings, Bertha Shelton, Phyllis Flora, Patricia Pierce, Nancy Miller, George, Charles, Donald, Jimmy and Claude Butler. A homemaker and 62 year resident of Goshen, Mrs. Archer worked as a waitress at The Diner and as assistant fountain manager at Newberry's Dime Store, both in Goshen. Friends may call 1-5 p.m., Sunday, December 11, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2011, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Jack Barthel will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
