Juan Alamo

Juan Alamo, 75, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at home.

He was born February 17, 1948 in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico to Pablo and Carmen (Medina) Alamo.

On June 3, 2000 he married Carol Perrin at the First United Methodist Church, Goshen.

She survives along with six children Carmen (Guillermo) Mora Vázquez, María (Ramón) Luisa Tarango, Juan José (Angélica) Alamo, Martha Alicia Alamo, Gabriel Alamo and Hugo Alamo; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight siblings, Gregorio (Maria Dias) Alamo, Matilde (Mario) Padilla, Lucia (Armando Diaz) Alamo, Antonio (Leticia Aguirre) Alamo, Rosalio (Maria de Jesus Ayala) Alamo, Bernarda (Pedro Romero) Alamo, Carmen Alamo and Francisca (Santiago Arana) Alamo.

A man of strong faith in God, Mr. Alamo was a kind and generous man who loved children.

Mr. Alamo retired from MasterBrand as a sander and sealer.  He enjoyed fishing, music and his pets, especially his puppy, Abby.  He was a member of the Masons.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Violett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice.
