Joyce Maxine Roth

Joyce Maxine Roth, 76, of Goshen, died late Saturday morning, December 5, 2009, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born November 10, 1933, in Emma Town, LaGrange County, Indiana, to the Daniel and Susie (Miller) Roth. Miss Roth moved to Goshen about ten years ago from Shipshewana.  She attended Topeka High School and was a member of Emma Mennonite Church where she helped with Bible School for many years.  She had worked at The Tower Ribbon in Topeka. She is survived by two nephews and four nieces; and two brothers, Howard (MaryAnn) Roth of Pharr, Texas, and Claron Roth of Shipshewana. She was preceded in death by infant twin sisters. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Emma Mennonite Church, Topeka. A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2009, funeral service will be conducted at the Emma Mennonite Church, with Pastor Gene Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Shipshewana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emma Mennonite Church.
