Joyce Arlene Golden, 72, of Goshen, died Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Milford.
She was born April 12, 1945 in Kokomo to Gerald and Lola (Slabaugh) Mast.
On May 30, 1971 she married Jerry Golden in Kokomo.
He survives along with two children, Julie Golden of Fort Wayne and Jason (Andrea) Golden of New Paris; four grandchildren, Chelsie (Nathan) Penner, Jonathon Bigler, Brittany (Darrick) Braun and Carson Golden; a great-granddaughter, Abigail Penner; a sister, Waneta (Don) Haarer of Goshen; a brother, Weldon (Linda) Mast of Kokomo and brother-in-law, Clifford Frey of Goshen.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Frey.
Mrs. Golden moved to Goshen in 1971 from Kokomo and worked at Greencroft for 25 years, retiring in 2007.
A 1963 graduate of Clay Township High School she did a year of voluntary service in Eureka, Illinois and prior to her marriage worked as a unit secretary at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.
Friends may call Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10 a.m., Friday funeral service at Waterford Mennonite Church. Pastors Neil Amstutz and Cindy Voth will officiate.
Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery, Nappanee.
Memorials may be given to Waterford Mennonite Church.
