Joy D. Kyle, 82, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born July 15, 1932 in Pierceton to Oscar and Bertha (Spencer) Slusher. She married David Kyle in Warsaw. He died July 7, 1993. Survivors include 10 children, David (Mindy) Kyle and Garen (Roxanna) Kyle, both of Goshen, Cathy (Von) Doering, of Punta Gorda, Fla., Doug (Cynthia) Kyle, of Warsaw, Gwendolyn Elliot and Roger (Susan) Kyle, both of Goshen, Wayne (Becky) Kyle, of Elkhart, Ronald (Jill) Kyle, of Goshen, Sherri (Brian) Goin, of Syracuse and Michael (April) Kyle, of Middlebury; son-in-law, Clifford Warble, of Cassopolis, Mich.; 50 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Vivian Blue, of Nappanee and Zelda Heintzelman, of Larwill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a daughter, Cynthia Warble; two grandsons, Berry Kyle and Ben Ottman; five brothers and five sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Shelton Kyle.. A longtime Goshen resident, Mrs. Kyle was a homemaker and member of the Salvation Army. She was an avid reader and NASCAR fan. Friends may call Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a Monday, October 20, 2014 funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Rev. David Bruce Kyle, a nephew, will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army or the National Kidney Foundation.
