Joseph “Joe” Clay Brandon, 75, of Goshen, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, after an extended illness. He was born on 28 September 1946 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
Joe graduated from Tompkinsville High School, Class of 64, and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving aboard Service support ships as an Engineman Third Class. After his Naval Service, he spent the remainder of his professional life in the printing industry.
Mr. Brandon is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Janice Pickett Brandon of Goshen; daughter and son in law, Laura and Martin Schulz of Munich, Germany; brothers, Col. (USA Ret) James Brandon (Pam) of Greenville, South Carolina, George Brandon (Donna) of Ocala, Florida, Randy Brandon (Jonettea) of Humble, Texas, and Alex Brandon (Amy) of Oreana, Illinois; and sisters, Julia Karen Smith of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, Sue Grider (Steve Hudson) of Oakley, Illinois and Gail Barnes (Greg) of Decatur, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Clay Brandon and Kathryn White Geralds; step-mother, Ruby Morgan Brandon; his daughter, Bethaney Jo Brandon; and brother, Robert Brandon.
Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will take place at a later date in Kentucky.
