Joseph W. Bailey

Joseph W. Bailey, 78, of Goshen, died Wednesday evening, July 1, 2015, at Signature Healthcare of Bremen after an extended illness. He was born July 15, 1936 in Holly, West Virginia to Henry and Sarah Anna (Lovejoy) Bailey. On March 28, 1959 he married Nancy Lou Ferrell in Eskdale, West Virginia. She survives along with two children, Tim Bailey of Bristol and Diana (David) Dunn of Given, West Virginia; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin Bailey and a sister, Arbutus Kincaid, both of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, a sister and a grandson. A fan of NASCAR and college and professional football, Mr. Bailey enjoyed his work as a supervisor at Dutchman. Friends may call Saturday, July 4, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 12: 45 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1 p.m. funeral service will be conducted by Michael McCallister, a friend of the family. Cremation at Yoder-Culp Crematory will follow and burial will be at a later date in West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
