Jose Refugio Gonzalez

Jose Refugio Gonzalez, 69, of Goshen, died Monday, November 6, 2017 at South Bend Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 13, 1948 in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Maria E. Gonzalez; three children, Gustavo (Rosa) Gonzalez and Ricardo (Luz) Gonzalez, both of Goshen and Anel (Jamie) Wolf, Dallas, Texas; and eight grandchildren, Cecilia, Ricky, Brenda, Matteo, Gustavo Adolfo Gonzalez, Valen Osuna and Amelia Jay and Jax Lee Wolf.

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  He enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and family in the U.S. and Mexico as well as doing yard work and handyman work.

A 4:00 p.m. funeral mass will take place Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with visitation to follow at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
