John Melvin Wilson

John M. Wilson, 58, of Ligonier, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Avalon Village.

He was born December 25, 1963, in Goshen to Harrison Wilson and Patsy (Miller) Flynn.

John is survived by three daughters, Angela (David) Cripe of Syracuse, Paige Taliaferro of Miami, Florida and Kim Wilson of Niles, Michigan; three sons, John (Brittany) Wilson and Michael Bryan, both of Goshen and Terry Diamond of Elkhart; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Wilson and Deb Baker, both of Goshen.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Faith Wilson and two brothers, Jody and Alvin Jay Wilson.

A member of the Goshen Salvation Army Church, John was a fan the Chicago Bears, Notre Dame and car racing.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Salvation Army Chaplain Lt. Kendra Hixenbaugh will officiate.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the Goshen Salvation Army.
