John Edward Staub

John Edward Staub, 26, of Goshen, died late Thursday night, March 22, 2012 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1985, in Goshen to John Edward Stilley of Goshen and Rachel (Staub) Pontius of Elkhart. Mr. Staub married Kozi Woolridge, in Elkhart in 2003. He is survived by a daughter, Mya Kae Groh of Pennsylvania; a son, John Edward Jr. of Elkhart; a brother, James Michael Staub of Goshen; three step-brothers, Thomas Robert Forbes of Michigan City, David Allen Pontius Jr. of Mishawaka, and Richard Edward Pontius of Elkhart; a step-sister, Paula Sue Forbes of Goshen; his step-mother, Sheila Stilley; his step-father, Dave Pontius; a maternal grandfather, Kenneth Staub; a maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Chandler; and a maternal step-grandmother, Patricia Pontius, all of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Staub. John worked as a Mig Welder and in printing at Century Foam, Elkhart. Friends may call on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 1-3 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home Following visitation the body will be cremated at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
