John William Potter, Sr.

John “Bill” W. Potter, Sr., 81, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, at home.

He was born June 3, 1940 in Elkhart to Charles Potter and Marie LaMunyon.

On September 1, 1956, he married Flora Mae “Tuttie” Musser.  She died February 25, 2005.

Bill is survived by three children, Vickie (Christopher) Coyne, Terry (Dale) Wert and John (Denise) Potter Jr., all of Goshen; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bud LaMunyon and a sister, Leona Richie.

Bill retired from the Elkhart County Highway Department after more than 20 years as a truck driver.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Goshen Salvation Army, 1013 N. Main St., Goshen.

Memorial donations may be given to the Goshen Salvation Army.
