John C. Mast

John C. Mast, 51, of Goshen, died Sunday afternoon, January 1, 2006, at Elkhart General Hospital, where he had been a patient for about a week.   He was born September 24, 1954, in Goshen, Indiana, to Owen C. Mast and Viola (Walter) (Mast) Holmes.  He was a lifelong resident of the Goshen area.   He had worked as a custodian at Goshen High School and at Cardinal Center, Warsaw.  A Goshen High School graduate, he enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles.   He is survived by a son, Jeffery A. Mast of West Lafayette, Indiana; a sister, Shirley (Danny Sr.) Lung of Princeton, Indiana; and two brothers, James and Paul Mast, both of Goshen.   Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 6, at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 20065, funeral will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Danny Lung, Sr. will officiate.   Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorials may be made to the family.
