John W. Brown

Goshen - John W. Brown, 61, died Sunday morning at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne after a brief illness. He was born October 26, 1951, in Goshen to William H. and Patricia (Milbourn) Brown. Surviving are one sister, Elizabeth (Donald) Yoder, Syracuse; two brothers, Sam (JoAnn) Brown, Middlebury and Duane A. (Beth) Brown, New Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents and his great niece, Avery Rife. John was a self employed construction worker. He was a member of the Living Gospel Church, Nappanee. He loved and enjoyed his nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School where he wrestled. He officiated football, wrestling and baseball and was active as a youth in 4-H. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Mike Raasch of Living Gospel Church, Nappanee. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
