John W. Brimhall

John W. Brimhall, 84, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne. He was born November 28, 1925, to Homer and Maxine (King) Brimhall in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He moved to Goshen in 1957 from Arkansas. On April 3, 1945 he married Ruby F. Callaway in Leachville, Arkansas. She died April 25, 2004. He married Jewel A. (Stutzman) Lambright in Goshen on September 8, 2008.  She survives. Also surviving are a daughter Betty (Eugene) Bryant of Goshen; three sons, Charles (Ann) Brimhall of Florida, Larry (Linda) Brimhall of Goshen, and Kenny (Jae) Brimhall of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Brimhall of Goshen. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Disher.            Mr. Brimhall worked for the City of Goshen many years and was a member of the Prairieview Missionary Church.  A U.S. Navy veteran he served during WWII. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, walking, riding his bicycle and working in his yard. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 3, at the Prairieview Missionary Church where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010. Pastor Craig Lambright will officiate. Burial will be in Baintertown Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Prairieview Missionary Church.
