Joel Meade

Joel M. Meade, 40, Syracuse, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born Sept. 8, 1976 in Goshen to Ira Meade, Goshen and Vickie (Roger) Shuder, Syracuse.

On Aug. 27, 2004 he married Brandy Reed in Sedalia, Missouri.

Brandy survives along with his parents and a brother, Jason W. Meade, Syracuse, and grandmother, Roberta Carpenter Leonard, Goshen.

A member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, Ligonier, Joel graduated from and was on staff of Teen Challenge Christian Discipleship Program.

He loved the Lord and was a compassionate, generous, carefree and easy going man.  He enjoyed books, antiques and motorcycles.

Friends may call Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Wednesday funeral service at Trinity Assembly of God Church, 1288 West Union St., Ligonier.  Pastors Jeff Thomas and John Randolph will officiate.

Burial will follow in Solomon Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Yoder-Culp to help with funeral expenses.
