Joaquin "Jack" San Juan

Joaquin “Jack” San Juan, 78, of Goshen, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at home.

He was born January 25, 1945 in Vincennes to Henry San Juan and Ruth (Huerta) Zamora.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Laura Legus of Elkhart; three sisters, Virginia (Gordon) Pensylof  Bangor, Pennsylvania, Nita Cantril of Lincoln, Nebraska and Laura (Rick) Ernst of Oregon and a brother, Rick San Juan.

An Army veteran and member of the Goshen DAV, Jack worked as a press operator for Goshen Stamping for 43 years.  A student and instructor of Tae Kwon Do, he earned his Black Belt at Anglemyer’s Tae Kwon Do, Constantine, Michigan.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Military honors will be given at 6 p.m. at the funeral.  Cremation will follow.

Memorial donations may be given to The Window, Goshen.
