Joan L. Heiserman

Joan L. Heiserman, 77, of Goshen died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born February 27, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to Peter and Hallie (Kincaid) Clapacs.

She is survived by a daughter, Amanda (Matthew) Toepper of Palatine, Illinois; two grandchildren, Samuel and Nathaniel; and a brother, Terry (Phyllis) Clapacs of Bloomington.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Miller and a brother, James Clapacs.

Joan worked as an auditor and was a cross-country truck driver.

She was Auntie Joan to many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed her days by baking, cooking, painting, watching old Western movies and listening to music.

Joan adored animals, especially dogs, including her dog, Abby.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
