Joan K. Harshberger

Joan K. Harshberger, 78, of Goshen died Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home.

She was born January 15, 1943 in Goshen to Glenn E. and Alma I. (Troyer) Harshberger.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Keena and Eric; two great-grandchildren; four siblings, Judy Riegsecker of Sarasota, Florida, Janeth (Dallas) Fireline of Goshen, Lyle (Mary Anne) Harshberger of Goshen and Lynn (Linda) Harshberger of Fremont; and a sister-in-law, Elsie Harshberger.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward “Michael” Troyer, and a brother, Larry Harshberger.

Joan worked in food service for many years at Goshen Hospital.  She loved Jesus and her family. Joan enjoyed cooking, crocheting and doing crafts. She also enjoyed spending time in nature and being with her dogs.

Friends and family will meet Friday, May 21, 2021 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m., to go in procession to Miller 8 Square, Goshen for a 1 p.m. graveside service.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
