Jo Ann Waggoner

Jo Ann Waggoner, 89 of Goshen died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born April 13, 1930 in Goshen to Charles Lowell and Helen Lucille (Hamblin) Hoke.

On January 1, 1991 she married Frederick James Waggoner.  He died October 9, 2008.

She is survived by her son, Scott A. (Margelyn) Guffey of Goshen.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lou Mann.

A 1949 graduate of Goshen High School, JoAnn served two years in the U.S. Army.  She had a full career at Goshen Rubber, retiring after 37 years of employment.

Jo Ann enjoyed crafts, crocheting and the study of genealogy.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service. Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.

Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery with military honors.

Memorial gifts may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
