Jo Ann Stemen

Jo Ann Stemen, 85, of Goshen and formerly of Lima, Ohio, died Saturday morning, June 2, 2012, at Courtyard Healthcare where she had been the last six months. She was born November 29, 1926 in Kokomo, to Lee C. and Della Mary (Hensler) Turner. She married Robert E. Stemen, December 4, 1944. He preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, Sheryl (Allen) Brenneman of Goshen, Deborah (Charles) Cypher and Michael Stemen both of Lima, Ohio, and Kevin (Deb) Stemen, Conyers of Georgia; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Ramer, Michelle Ester-Bode, Tanya Fast, Sarah Browning, Jason Stemen, Lindsay Battle, Crew Cypher and Logan Cypher; and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 8, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012, funeral service at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements.
