Jo Marie Alderman, 72, of Goshen, passed away on May 15, at Goshen Hospital where she had been for several weeks.
Jo was born Sept. 3, 1951, in Kissimmee, FL to Walter C. and Eunice Marie (King) Alderman.
Surviving are daughters Sherri (Dale) Moore, Goshen, Bonnie (Derek) Kidder, Middlebury, and Amber (Jason) Laurito, Port St. Lucie, FL; 8 grandchildren; and brother, William “Bill” (Dorothy) Allen, Blacksburg, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leon Allen and David Mike Alderman, and sister, Sandra Denise Allen.
Jo worked in several positions at Goshen Hospital for the past 15 years, finishing as an Ambassador. She had also worked for Goshen Care at Home Hospice. She was a member of the River of Life Fellowship in Middlebury. She loved spending time with her family and being with her pets. Jo enjoyed reading, gardening, canning, planting flowers, and was a very generous person. She loved God’s word and studied the Bible in her spare time.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m., and for 30 minutes prior to the 6:30 p.m. memorial service, Tues. May 21, at River of Life Fellowship in Middlebury. Pastor Gordy Henke will officiate.
