Jill Angelina Hershberger

Jill A. Hershberger, 53, of Elkhart, passed away at her home Friday morning, January 17, 2014, after a two year illness. She was born October 15, 1960 in Three Rivers, Michigan, to Jerry Penn and Shirley (Owen) Schrock. On December 6, 1988 she married Brad Hershberger in Goshen. He survives along with a son, Pete Edwards of Burr Oak, Michigan; a daughter, Joetta Penn of Elkhart; her mother, Shirley Schrock of Sturgis, Michigan; a step-son, Scott (Chelsy) Deppe of Goshen; a step-daughter, Sara Mosong of Elkhart; five grandchildren; a sister, Tammy (Jim) Reppas of Sturgis, and a brother, Danny Penn of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Lavonne Penn and two brothers, Jeff and Lonnie Penn. Mrs. Hershberger worked in the meat department of the Goshen Kroger store. Friends may call from 12 until 1 p.m., Monday, January 20, 2014 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation and a service and burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
