Jesus Bernal Valtierra

Jesus Bernal Valtierra, 68, of Goshen, died Tuesday morning, September 2, 2014, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born February 9, 1946 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Jose de Jesus and Carmen (Bernal) Valtierra. He is survived by his wife, Maria Tiscareno Valtierra and six children, Raudel (Ana Maria) and Roy (Esther) Valtierra, all of Goshen and Jose de Jesus, Maria del San Juan, Lorena and Maria Elena Valtierra, all of Mexico; 18 grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Mr. Valtierra retired from Keystone R.V. where he worked as a carpenter on the assembly line. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 7, 2014, one hour prior to the 5 p.m. funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen. Father Fernando Jimenez will officiate. Cremation at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home will follow the funeral mass.
